Bowling Field Trip

Team Hendricks will be traveling to Lucky Strike Lanes in Mansfield Center on May 9, 2008. Students have been introduced to the sport of bowling and have been learning how to score using modified bowling sheets. The Duckpin Bowling Modified Score Sheet may be able to assist those who would like to learn at home.
Permission slips were sent home today and are due to me tomorrow (although it does say it can be turned in by Friday). There is no cost for this field trip.
It is extremely important that students find a pair of socks at home that will cover their sneakers that they will wear the day of the trip. There aren’t enough bowling shoes for 60 third graders to bowl. The bowling alley allows students to wear a pair of socks over their shoes. Students should bring their socks in as soon as they find them. We will label them and place them in lockers until the trip. If you have any trouble finding socks, please let me know.
